Installation: 2 artist books and 32 wax pieces
Silence and poetry merge in “Poetry of the non-said” in order to find a way of expression and meaning through the non-said. The two artist books complement each other: the first one is composed of the cartographies belonging to the sound landscapes obtained through the 3D spectrograms of 32 poems on silence, which have been recorded; the second one shows the spaces open on the paper by the extraction of these 32 poems over a fragmented portrait, being just the absence of the poetry what remains, and enabling this way to see through the book, connecting different pages. The written poems are encapsulated in the wax pieces that extend to both sides. These pieces take their shape from the ear, making the empty space into material.

The cilinder of a music box has been substitued for a new one that shows the word "silencio". This way, the word silence breaks its semantics in order to obtain a new meaning, a new beeing that belongs to sound beyond words, discovering the sound of silence.
